The Glass Cover Assembly is a vital part of Centauri Carbon's thermal management system. Unlike the front door, the top cover is designed to trap rising heat, creating a stable "heat pocket" within the build chamber. This is critical when printing with advanced materials like Nylon (PA), Polycarbonate (PC), or Carbon Fiber composites, which are highly sensitive to ambient temperature fluctuations.
The assembly features a high-transparency tempered glass pane set within a reinforced frame. It is designed for easy removal, allowing users to lift it off when printing with low-temperature materials like PLA to prevent heat creep, or keeping it securely in place to maintain a constant 50°C to 60 °C internal chamber temperature for industrial filaments.
