Product Description
Description
eSUN ABS-CF is a carbon fiber-reinforced ABS filament designed for high-performance and industrial applications. It incorporates chopped carbon fibers into standard ABS, resulting in significantly enhanced strength, stiffness, and heat resistance. This filament prints with a professional matte black finish and is ideal for mechanical parts, tools, and automotive components.
Features
- High rigidity and tensile strength for functional components
- Excellent wear resistance due to the embedded carbon fibers
- Matte surface finish that reduces layer visibility
- Improved heat resistance compared to standard ABS
- Lower warping and shrinkage when printed in an enclosed chamber
- Lightweight but strong, thanks to the carbon fiber content
- Good dimensional stability for complex prints
- Requires a hardened nozzle due to the abrasive nature of carbon fibers
Specifications
- Filament diameter: 1.75mm (with tight tolerances)
- Net weight: 1KG spool
- Printing temperature: 240–270°C
- Heated bed temperature: 100–110°C
- Recommended printing speed: 40–100mm/s
- Drying required before use (nylon-like hygroscopic behavior)
- Printing environment: Enclosure strongly recommended to prevent warping
- Compatible nozzle: Hardened steel or ruby (avoid brass due to wear)
Inclusions
- One vacuum-sealed 1KG spool of eSUN ABS-CF Carbon Fiber filament
Safety Precautions:
-
Always print in a well-ventilated area.
-
Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
-
Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
-
Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
-
Unplug the printer when not in use.
-
Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
-
Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
-
Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.
ABS
- Produces strong fumes while printing — always print in a well-ventilated area or enclosed
printer. - Avoid touching the print until it has cooled down.
- Keep away from open flames.
All CF (Carbon Fiber) Filaments
- (PLA CF, PETG CF, ABS CF, ASA CF, Nylon CF, etc.)
- Printing may produce fine dust — use good ventilation.
- Always wear gloves and a mask when handling or sanding printed parts.
- Carbon fiber dust can irritate the skin, eyes, and lungs.
- Let prints cool completely before touching.
- Use a hardened steel nozzle to prevent nozzle wear.
