Product Description
Description:
Analog High Temperature Sensor
While many might first think of the DS18B20 temperature sensor, it's important to note that this particular sensor has a maximum temperature limit of 125°C. For applications requiring temperature measurements beyond 100°C, a more robust solution is necessary.
This is where the PT100 resistance-type high-temperature probe comes into play. Commonly found in industrial environments, the PT100 sensor is designed to measure a wide temperature range from 30°C to 350°C. It provides higher resistance to heat and greater reliability under extreme conditions.
The sensor module is designed to operate with a voltage supply between 3.3V and 5.5V, making it compatible with a variety of microcontrollers including Arduino, STM32, and others. This makes it an excellent choice for projects involving high-temperature monitoring.
