Product Description

Description

The eSUN ePC (Polycarbonate) filament is a durable, engineering-grade material designed for functional parts requiring strength, heat resistance, and toughness. It prints at lower temperatures than traditional PC, making it more accessible while still delivering excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability.

Product Features

  • High Impact Resistance: Withstands mechanical stress and is ideal for load-bearing parts.
  • Heat Resistance: Maintains stability at elevated temperatures, with heat deflection up to ~80 °C.
  • Low Shrinkage: Offers dimensional accuracy with minimal warping.
  • Clean & Safe Printing: Produces low smoke and no toxic odor during printing.
  • Moisture Protection: Comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant to maintain print quality.
  • User-Friendly PC Variant: Easier to process than traditional PC filaments.

Safety Precautions:

  • Always print in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
  • Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
  • Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
  • Unplug the printer when not in use.
  • Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
  • Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
  • Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.

Polycarbonate (PC)

  • Can give off unpleasant fumes — always use ventilation.
  • Avoid breathing the smoke from overheated prints.
  • Allow parts to cool before handling.
