This plate is crucial for ensuring successful high-speed printing on the V400. The PEI surface provides a reliable grip when the bed is heated, preventing models from warping or detaching prematurely. The flexible spring steel core allows for an unmatched ease of use: once the print is finished and the plate has cooled, the print can be removed effortlessly by simply bending the sheet, eliminating the need for scrapers and reducing the risk of damaging the print or the bed surface. Many versions feature a Textured PEI coating, which leaves an aesthetically pleasing, matte finish on the bottom of the printed part.
