Description:
The MQ-7 Carbon Monoxide Gas Sensor is specifically designed for detecting Carbon Monoxide (CO) concentrations in the air. It utilizes a tin dioxide (SnO2) semiconductor material as its sensitive layer. In clean air, the sensor has low conductivity, and when carbon monoxide is present, it is absorbed onto the sensor's surface, causing conductivity to increase. This change in conductivity is converted into an analog voltage output, which is proportional to the CO concentration.
